Cousin Avery has joined a swim team. She has become quite the little fish. As you can tell from the pictures, she is thoroughly enjoying herself. I am not sure how Avery learned to swim, but my mom tricked me. To get my first swimming badge, she got in the pool with me. Then let me swim to her. But when I would get within reach, she would back up. She did this until I made it to the other side. She said I was mad at her. Can you blame me? It must have been so traumatic that I have completely blocked it from my memory.
