Our drive to Tennessee took about 20 hours. We did drive it all in one day. One very long day! So the first part of our time in Tennessee was spent sleeping. Even Grace slept.
That first evening, my mom's sister, Aunt Tammy, came to visit and meet Grace. Grace was on the bed in her bouncer. As most of you recent parents know, the bouncer has a switch to turn on the vibrations. The "gentle vibrations" are supposed to be "soothing" if you believe the packaging. I must admit, Grace does seem to like it... At times anyway.
Aunt Tammy reaches to touch Grace's foot and she jumps back startled saying "She's quivering!" Needless to say, Mom and I could not stop laughing. Aunt Tammy joined in when we let her in on the secret. By this time, Grace was wide awake. Who wouldn't be with 3 laughing fools in the room with you?
