Mike and Malinda Head to NYC!

Some dear friends of ours, Mike and Malinda, are heading north to that great city called The Big Apple! Hopefully this is just a temporary relocation. Temporary as in at most a few years. Over Memorial Day weekend, a group of us got together to wish them well and let them know they will be missed.

Malinda is one of my shopping buddies and I don't know what I will do without her. On the flip-side, we could really do some damage in NYC! I have my fingers crossed she will scout out all the cool shopping venues. Then we can hit them when I go to visit. And I will keep her up to date on what the Maverick has. In case you don't know what the Maverick is, it is a very cool shop in the stockyards. The building it is in has quite a history. It has been everything from a brothel to a bank. And now we drink beer and shop there. Here we are after our shopping adventure.
