Grace Helps in the Office

A few weeks ago, I purchased a new toy... a new camera. Just a little fancier than a point and shoot but not fancy enough to need classes to learn how to use it. I did have to read the manual though. At least parts of it.

I was getting frustrated with my point and shoot. Works great for people who will hold a pose for a few seconds. Believe it or not, a 2 month old doesn't wait for the camera. I can't imagine why.

I am addicted. I actually want another lens. One that will allow me to sit in my back porch and zoom in on the wildlife. And eventually Grace when she starts playing out there.

The last few days have been a bit rough for the little girl. She has had a bout of bad gas. Yes is smells. But it must be uncomfortable also because she hasn't been able to nap well. Thank heavens for Mylicon. It seems to help. Wonder if it works for adults?

Anyway, Grace decided to help us in the office one night. First she gave us a few Ooohs and Aaahs.

Then she decided it was time for a nap.

She is changing so fast. It's hard to keep up. She'll be walking and talking before we know it!

  1. What camera did you end up getting? DSLR are the only way to go for young kids. It seems that's the only way I can get any good pics of Jac but the point and shoot is much easier to travel with (especially if you're traveling light)

  2. I purcahsed the Nikon D60. Love it! It's fairly easy. Especially if you use any of the preprogrammed settings (auto, action, night, landscape, kids...).
