Blue Bonnets - A Texas Tradition

Yes, we are still alive and kicking. More so than ever actually. And I have a few minutes to kill. I ran across these shots are realized that I had not shared with you.

In Texas during the spring, the Blue Bonnets bloom. You will see families all along the roads stopping and putting some poor kid in the middle of the flower patch to get a photo. So in keeping with the tradition, we did the same thing to Grace. Well, I asked Tim to do it. She will only have me to blame.

One of the houses in the neighborhood has a huge wild flower section in the front yard. Tim asked if they would mind if he took a few pictures of Grace sitting in them. Definitely a lot safer than stopping by the interstate with cars whizzing by. The neighbor didn't mind at all.

I'm not sure if we will be able to get her to sit still long enough next year.

This one is a good shot of the Blue Bonnets. Yes, her dad decided she needed a clip. These were taken before the first hair cut.

Just letting the breeze flow through my hair.

Is something crawling on me?

Whatever was crawling on me sure tastes good!

Exactly how many more pictures are you going to take?

We are all done? Yeah! Time for another snack!
