Grace is 10 Months Old

Boy - where does the time go? I have been falling down on the job of keeping this blog updated. Between work, Grace, and a few social activities, time flies. I had dinner with a few of the Old RadioShack gang. Hard to believe it has been almost 11 years since I moved to Texas and started working for them. I was lucky to be there when I was. And I made some lasting friendships. There are only a few left who still work there and they say it is truly a different place.

I have fallen victim to the Twilight craze. I recently saw the movie and it made me want to read the book. The first book made me want to read the other 3 books in the series. And read I did. Late into the night and every chance I got. I think I finished all of them within a week or so. Tim made fun of me. 1 - for reading a teenager book about vampires, and 2 - for my reading attire.

My reading attire... I get cold in this house (he likes it at 68 degrees or below, me, I'm a 72 degree kind of girl). When I am under the covers reading, my hands are still exposed. So I put on gloves. Seems reasonable to me. And since I have turned 40 and the warranty has run out, my eye sight is sliding. So I wear my reading glasses and have a little book light to help. He is definitely NOT impressed. I have been crowned the nerd queen of the house. Doesn't really bother me. At least I have a crown. Who cares if it is made out of Post Its!

Back to playing catch-up... We spent Thanksgiving in San Antonio with Tim's family. Nana Kay and Papa John were fabulous hosts. And Grace got to meet her cousin Ben. They had so much fun playing together!

Here are the brothers with the little cousins!

And here's Nana Kay with her playmates.

Annie with Ben.

And lastly, our family photo for the year. Our lives have truly been blessed with the addition of Grace. I am still so happy she chose us.

  1. Love the family photo! I should consider gloves for reading too...the ones where the tips are cut off so you can still turn the pages.
