Christmas in Tennessee

Grace is now all over the place. She is crawling and pulling up on anything she can. I know it won't be long before she's walking. And our lives will never be the same. Of course our lives haven't been the "same" since we found out she existed. So I guess it's really just our next stage of this new life.

She is also finally getting some teeth on the top. I think there are several coming in, but we can see one for sure.

We spent Christmas in Tennessee this year. I don't think I have been home at Christmas since I was married. Let's see... we moved to Seattle, back to Texas, then to a new house that I wanted to spend Christmas in, pregnancy. So, after all of that, we finally made it home!

This was Grace's first time on an airplane. She was a trooper. No major issues or meltdowns to mention. She slept almost the whole way back to Texas. Grandma Sharon and Pawpaw Bill wore her out! But I think Grandma Sharon also took a long nap after our visit also. One of these days I'll get my nap!

Here's Grace at the house on Christmas Eve. Since we were flying on Christmas Day, we let her open all of her presents that night. She made good use of those two bottom teeth!

Christmas Day, after the 4 hour delay in Texas (we had snow!), 2 hour plane ride, and 1 hour car ride. She was still all smiles. Got to love that.

Four generations of Blake. If we didn't already have a nephew named Blake, Grace might have been Blake. All things work out, because I think Grace fits her better than Blake would have.

This is what happens when Dad turns his back for a second. Those footed PJs are a bit slippery. And you can tell she wasn't expecting the ride. Can't you just see the little caption cloud above her head with "What the hell?" in it!

Playing with Grandma Sharon and Pawpaw Bill.

Cousin Avery was nice enough to let Grace use one of her old toys. Grace loved the exerciser. Jumping and chewing were definitely good times for her.

Jumping with Aunt Tammy. Too bad the picture can't show you the frog hops Aunt Tammy was doing. You've got to give her some credit for still being able to do it. I'm not sure if I can!

Visiting with Aunt Jackie. Aunt Jackie is one of Grace's favorites.
