Grace is now a month old. It's hard to believe that much time has already passed. Yes, we are sleep deprived. And by we, I mean Tim and I. Grace and the dogs are getting plenty of Zs. I am almost afraid to go back to work. It's a great company, but they really don't want you taking naps during the day.
Even though it has only been a month, Grace has changed a lot. She is filling out and looking like a happy baby. And she is happy most of the time. We are lucky and blessed.
I kept thinking I would get out a lot more once Grace finally arrived. That hasn't happened. When we do have a spare moment, we'll either be asleep or getting bottles ready. I could take her out during the day, but I have been hesitant because of all the talk about the Swine Flu around here. I guess it's better to be a hermit than to be exposed to a bad bug. I won't worry as much when she gets a little older. At least I hope I won't.
I can really tell my life has changed. I never in a million years thought that the biggest worry for my day was whether or not my child was able to poop. And that I would be overjoyed when she did. I guess I am officially a mom.
Grace enjoys her play area. When she is wide awake and gets bored with us holding her, she likes to hang out in here. She loves all of the critters. One of them actually makes bug noises. She also likes to look at herself. I wonder if that is a sign of what it to come... Do we have a little diva in the making?

LOL! Welcome to the world of pee and POOP! You know it's a big one when you report how many wipes it took to clean it up! So happy to see the pic. Hoping you can get some more zzzz's soon (keep repeating: Mommy sleeps when baby sleeps).
