Grace and Mia

I do apologize for taking so long to update the blog. It has been an eventful 2 weeks. I was released last Monday to return to work. Good that I am healthy but bad because I no longer get to spend all day with Miss Grace. Last week and this week, I am only working 1/2 days. So technically I do get to spend the day with her, but I also have to be a little productive.

And Grace has graduated to her own room in her crib. She was quickly outgrowing the bassinet in our room. She didn't like the fact she could no longer stretch her arms out completely. I will have to take a picture of her in it to show you. Hard to believe just a little over 7 weeks ago she arrived and was so tiny in the bassinet.

I'm sure Grace doesn't care, but I couldn't just let her stay in her room by herself. So I left the adult bed in there for a little while. At night, I stay in there with her. She is still getting up once during the night and staying in there makes it easier. At least that's the reason I keep telling myself. It couldn't be because I couldn't let her go!

A couple of weeks ago, Grace and I were upstairs playing. The light is much better up there. Of course the pups had to join us. Grace spent a little time on her belly. What is about sticking your tongue out that makes things work better and/or helps you to think.

And then she took a break to play with Mia. As you can see, Mia is completely disinterested. Mia was moving in the second shot, so she's just a big black blur, but Grace is grinning.
