Another Year Older - Wow!

We have been quite busy around here lately. Nana Kay came to visit for a few days. Grace had a great time with her. Grace loved her shopping spree at Gap Kids. I think Nana Kay enjoyed it almost as much as Grace did. Here they are at the park.


And here playing at the kitchen island. I'm not sure what the game was, but they were having a lot of fun.


As Grace's second birthday approached, we tried to limit her pacifier use. She calls it a boppy. Not sure why. Here we are negotiating for boppy.


Grace loves to pick flowers in the yard. Luckily, our weeds are pretty weeds!


Tim headed to San Antonio for his annual convention. Unfortunately, it fell on Grace's birthday weekend. So we didn't have a party this year. We won't have one until Grace really wants it. Which could be next year! I have no idea if a 3 year old "wants" to invite her friends to a party. We'll see.

Mema Sharon and Poppy Bill came to help celebrate Grace's second birthday. It was a busy fun-filled visit. Fun for us. I hope it was for them also. They gave Grace her first real bike. She doesn't have the pedaling part down yet, but she's close. Here she is in the store with the pink one.


And in the parking lot with the purple one that made the trip home. She was so funny about the bike. We put it in the back of the car for the ride home. She had to make sure it was really back there before she would let me close the back door and get in her seat.


She is so funny. The other day she found an empty shoebox in her closet. She proceeded to put a pair of her shoes in it and put it back in the closet. No, I didn't teach her this. But she is definitely my child!
