January marked Ben’s first birthday. The party theme was cowboy. Here’s Ben with his cowboy father John.

February was baby busy for us. We helped host two baby showers. One for Nancy and Travis and one for Kristi and Scotty. We also received updated photos of some of the kiddos. This is Jac, the son of our friends Chuck and Angela. He’s 18 months in this shot.

These are the cousins from one side of Tim’s family, Blake, Maggie, Carly, and Claire.
In March, we had an unexpected snow storm. It left just enough snow for the pups to play.
We did celebrate Cinco’s birthday, but I don’t have any pictures. And cake was involved.
Madeline also decided to send out an Easter greeting to the family.

April was extremely busy. Jakeb, Kristi and Scotty’s son, made his appearance at the beginning of the month.

Blakely, Nancy and Travis’s daughter, arrived a couple of weeks later.

In April a huge hail storm hit us. We were very lucky considering what happened to some of our neighbors. Everyone had to get a new roof. What fun! This is a couple of days after the storm. The hail was piled up to the bottom of the windows.

Several of the boys in the family got to drive the NASCAR cars like I did last year. It was a fun family day. Here’s the track.

My personal winner's circle.

All of the drivers: Greg (Tim’s step-brother), John (Tim’s brother), Tim, Bill (my dad), and Danny (Tim’s dad).

After the day of racing, we all headed back to our house for a cookout. Tim couldn’t resist taking a picture of this huge strawberry that he found in the package from the store.

In May we traveled to Michigan to attend Sara and Aaron’s wedding. It was a beautiful service and reception. I couldn’t believe how cold it was up there in May. I am definitely NOT a northern gal. Here we are at the reception.

Also in May, I started working from home on a full-time basis. I love it!
We sent Ben some foam blocks to play builder. Here he is with the blocks.

We couldn’t miss the 2nd Annual Vaquero Prom. Here are some of the girls: Shonna, Malinda, Kathy, and Me. Shonna was crowned Prom Queen.

Nothing much to report for June.
